Musician Stunner, whose real name is Desmond Chideme, has been acquitted of all charges related to allegations of assaulting a nine-year-old girl and her guardian in Glen Norah. The court’s decision clears him of the false allegations that had been leveled against him.
According to the allegations, the incident occurred when Stunner’s daughter was playing with friends, and a fight broke out among the children. Stunner intervened to protect his daughter but was accused of assaulting the young girl and her guardian, Catherine Matiza. Stunner denied the charges, and his legal team, led by Ndanatswa Mazvimbakupa and her husband Dumisani Mthombeni, successfully defended him.
