Schedule and carry out predictive and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty
mobile equipment (e.g., tipper trucks, loaders, graders, excavators).
Perform routine servicing, fault diagnosis, and mechanical repairs on heavy-duty
mobile equipment.
Inspect equipment for wear and identify potential breakdowns before they occur
Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate service and repair records for all equipment.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
Class 1 Diesel Plant Fitter
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintaining heavy-duty mobile equipment in
a mining or industrial setting.
In-depth practical and technical knowledge of heavy-duty mobile equipment.
Familiarity with maintenance management systems will be an added advantage.
Valid class 4 driver’s licence.
