Top Zimbabwean musician Jah Prayzah has revealed why he’s now a proud supporter of Scottland FC, the club where football star Khama Billiat plays. Jah Prayzah, who has been spotted at several Scottland FC matches, including their big clash with Harare City, has never backed a local team before. However, he has now become a regular at Rufaro Stadium, even attending the much-talked-about derby against Dynamos dressed in Scottland gear.
The hitmaker, who is enjoying the success of his latest album Ndini Mukudzeyi, explained that his loyalty isn’t just about football – it’s personal. Jah Prayzah revealed that his close relationship with Scottland FC owner Scott Sakupwanya is the reason behind his support. “I was not a soccer fan until Scottland,” he said.
Jah Prayzah further explained that he’s supporting Scottland FC because Scott Sakupwanya has supported him in a big way. “I am now supporting Scottland because Scott is my brother, and he has supported me in a big way. That is why I also support him and, in this case, Scottland,” he said, highlighting the importance of their friendship in his decision to back the team.
