Maud Chifamba, a 27-year-old academic prodigy from Zimbabwe, has graduated with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the prestigious Wharton School in the US. The degree, which cost $210,000, was fully covered by a scholarship. Chifamba’s academic achievements are impressive, considering she already holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Zimbabwe and is a Chartered Accountant (CA).

Chifamba’s journey to success is nothing short of remarkable. Born in 1997, she was accepted to the University of Zimbabwe to study accounting at just 14 years old, with her degree financed by a $9,933 scholarship. Despite facing hardships, including a period of homelessness where she slept on the railway, Chifamba persevered and achieved academic excellence.
Reflecting on her journey, Chifamba credits her success to divine intervention, saying, “If anybody doubts the existence of God, send them my way.” Her story serves as an inspiration to many, showcasing the power of determination and hard work in overcoming adversity.
