Samantha Mary Musa, popularly known as MisRed, is a renowned Zimbabwean radio personality, social influencer, philanthropist, brand ambassador, events MC, TV presenter, and author. Born on 8 May 1989 in Harare, she attended schools including Heritage High School and Speciss College. MisRed began her media career in 2012 at ZiFM Stereo, initially co-hosting “The Ignition” breakfast show before becoming the anchor of the popular Drive Time show, “The Rush Drive Time.”
She expanded her career into television in 2017 as co-host of the entertainment show “Coke on the Beat” on ZTV. MisRed is also known for her presence at major events such as the MTV Africa Music Awards and Lake of Stars Festival, where she has interviewed international artists. Beyond media, she runs “Red Market Sundays,” a Twitter initiative supporting small businesses by promoting them weekly.
MisRed is recognized for her philanthropic efforts and influence in Zimbabwe’s media landscape, often using her platform to address social issues. Her industry name originated from a unique lipstick she wore, with a friend calling her “mis-read,” which stuck as her professional moniker.
