Businessman Wicknell Chivayo has been named the second-best giver in Africa by Fortune Africa Magazine, in recognition of his extensive philanthropic work. According to the magazine, Chivayo has donated approximately $60 million to various causes in Zimbabwe, South Africa, and other countries. His philanthropic efforts have had a significant impact on the lives of many individuals and organizations.

Chivayo’s charitable endeavors include gifting over 150 cars to artists, pastors, businesspeople, churches, and content creators. He has also supported the construction of mission schools under the ZCC church and other charity organizations. His support for football teams has also helped sustain the livelihoods of soccer players and their families.

The recognition by Fortune Africa Magazine, a publication valued at approximately R50 million with a readership of over 100 million, is a testament to Chivayo’s commitment to giving back to the community. He was ranked second behind Nigerian businessman Tony O. Elumelu, who has committed $100 million towards empowering 100,000 African entrepreneurs.
