As a student at Midlands State University, he experienced firsthand the difficulties of securing off-campus accommodation, a struggle faced by thousands of tertiary students across the country.
Determined to find a solution, he founded The Housing Hub, a smart technology platform that simplifies the booking and payment process for student accommodation. His innovation didn’t just ease a burden; it empowered students by employing them as agents, helping them earn income through commissions.
Marvellous’ impact extends far beyond The Housing Hub. His entrepreneurial journey gained international recognition when he was named one of Africa’s Top 20 Young Entrepreneurs in 2019 by the Anzisha Prize. He has also won several prestigious awards, including Entrepreneur of the Year (CBZ Holdings, 2020) and the Presidential Best Innovative Student Award (2021).
His achievements caught global attention, leading to his selection as a Mandela Washington Fellow in 2023, a prestigious honor reserved for Africa’s most promising leaders. Beyond business, Marvellous is passionate about reshaping the narrative of Africa. As The African Finder, his digital content creation platform showcases the continent’s vibrant cultures, food, and tourism.
He has traveled extensively, partnering with organizations like Canex, Creative Africa Nexus, and South African Tourism to promote gastronomic experiences and highlight Africa’s rich heritage.
