Nyasha Mbizvo Mangwiro is a vibrant, contemporary chef and entrepreneur with international culinary experience. She is the founder and executive chef of Chef Studios and Bespoke Cakes ZW, Zimbabwe-based brands known for high quality catering, personalized cakes, and hands-on cooking classes.  Her journey began in 2013 while studying International Hospitality and Hotel Management at Vatel International Business School in Mauritius, with links to its main campus in Southern France. While undergoing her training, Nyasha discovered a passion for the culinary arts, shifting her focus from hospitality management to professional cooking.

Nyasha built her skills working in five-star hotels and restaurants across Mauritius, France, Zanzibar, and the United Arab Emirates. Her time at the prestigious Emirates Palace where she served as both chef and personal butler to royal families marked a career highlight. Despite being offered a permanent role there, she turned it down to pursue her entrepreneurial vision. In 2014, she registered her catering business in Zimbabwe, which grew to include Chef Studios’ cooking classes in 2017. From her first Instagram-advertised class with just 14 participants, she now trains over 200 aspiring cooks annually. The COVID-19 pandemic inspired a transition to virtual classes, expanding her reach. Chef Studios focuses on bringing restaurant-quality meals to home kitchens, while Bespoke Cakes ZW offers simple, delicious cakes for any occasion. Nyasha also provides professional catering services for events. Like many entrepreneurs, Nyasha faced skepticism due to her age, as well as self-doubt. Yet, support from her family and husband, along with positive customer feedback, helped her push forward. She encourages women to “own their crown” and advises young entrepreneurs to be passionate, authentic, research-driven, and to compete with themselves rather than others.
