Mary Mubaiwa has vehemently denied allegations made by her ex-husband, Shingi Kawondera, that she conspired with the late Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure to defraud him of assets. Kawondera claimed that Mubaiwa and Ginimbi swindled him of his earnings from his football career, alleging that he had invested in Ginimbi’s gas business and was a director before Ginimbi allegedly forged signatures to take control of the company.

Mubaiwa has challenged Kawondera to seek legal recourse if he believes he was cheated, stating that he should approach Ginimbi’s estate and make a formal claim if he has grievances. She questioned the lack of evidence for the alleged forged signatures and dismissed claims of co-ownership of a business, clarifying that “La Shell” was a travel and tour company that belonged solely to her.

Mubaiwa expressed distress that Kawondera continues to speak about her despite their relationship ending long ago. She maintains that Kawondera’s claims are baseless and lacks substance, urging him to take his grievances to court if he genuinely believes he has been wronged.
