Zimbabwean striker Tino Kadewere is poised to begin a fresh chapter in the Greek Super League after completing his transfer from FC Nantes to Aris Thessaloniki. The 29-year-old arrived in Thessaloniki on Monday to undergo medical examinations before finalizing a two-year deal with the ambitious Greek outfit.

Kadewere’s move comes amid a major reshuffling at Nantes, who have seen no fewer than 14 departures in a busy summer transfer window. The former Olympique Lyon forward struggled to make a lasting impact during his stint in France, and his switch to Greece offers a chance to revive his career and gain more regular minutes on the pitch.

Aris Thessaloniki, who finished fourth last season, will look to Kadewere’s experience and attacking prowess to bolster their offensive options as they prepare for domestic and European competitions. For the Warriors forward, the new challenge represents both a reset and a renewed opportunity to assert himself in Europe.
