South African police intercepted a bus carrying 53 undocumented Zimbabweans in Hammanskraal, north of Pretoria. The group included 17 women, 1 man, and 16 children. Authorities confirmed the children have already been deported.
The remaining 19 individuals are being held at Hammanskraal police station. The bus was reportedly headed for Pretoria when it was stopped during a routine inspection.
Officials say the arrest is part of a broader crackdown on undocumented migration. Roadblocks have been set up at Hammanskraal, Kranshop, Baobab, and Mantsole to intercept illegal border crossings.
