This includes maneuvering the truck, securing loads, and ensuring timely deliveries according to schedules. They also handle waste disposal, potentially at nominated waste disposal centers, and may be involved in on-site bin changeovers

Waste Disposal:
Disposing of waste at designated disposal centers, potentially including paperwork or documentation.
On-site Changeovers:
Potentially performing on-the-spot exchanges of full skips with empty ones at customer locations.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Conducting daily vehicle checks, reporting defects, and performing basic maintenance to ensure the truck is roadworthy.
Customer Interaction:

Record Keeping:

Driving License: A valid driver's license Class 2, retest, medical, and defensive driving certificate.
Driving Experience: 5 years’ experience in operating skip trucks or similar vehicles.
Knowledge of Regulations: Understanding of relevant road safety regulations and waste management procedures.
Physical Fitness: Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including climbing on and off the truck.
Communication Skills: Effective communication with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
Problem-Solving: Ability to address unexpected issues that may arise on the job.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate record-keeping and meticulous adherence to safety procedures.
