Reporting to the Engineering Foreman, the job is based at the Mine and is responsible for the following:
Summary of Duties:
Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
Conducting electrical repairs and servicing of all electrical on mobile equipment.
Carrying out daily inspection and routine checks on mobile equipment.
Ensuring that breakdowns are resolved in shortest possible time.
Operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
Ensuring proper documentation is done for record keeping
Interpreting electrical circuits and drawings.
Five (5) O' Levels including English, Mathematics and Science.
National Certificate in Auto Electrics
Apprentice trained Class 1 Auto Electrician
At least five (5) years' post apprenticeship experience working in a Mining or Heavy Engineering environment.
CAT and BELL equipment knowledge an added advantage
Sound knowledge of SHEQ Management Systems.
