Reporting to the Engineering Foreman, the job is based at the Mine and is responsible for the following:
Dandaro Online, Zimbabwe Latest Jobs
Aligning, levelling and anchoring machinery.
Controlling movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces.
Fabricating, setting up and repairing rigging, supporting structures, hoists and pulling gears.
Giving signals to workers involved in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and equipment.
Inspecting lifting gear daily in line with SHEQ policies and standards.
Five (5) O' Levels including English, Mathematics and Science.
National Certificate in Fabrication or Rigging
Techniques.
Class 1 Journeyman Certificate Rigger Ropeman.
At least 5 years' post apprenticeship experience working in a Mining, Processing Plant or Heavy Engineering environment.
Sound knowledge of SHEQ Management systems.
