Prior Greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases
Greeting customers as they approach the checkout area
Processing payments using cash, credit/debit cards, gift cards, or other payment methods
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of till area
Providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
Balancing the till at the end of each shift to ensure that all transactions are accounted for
Assisting customers with bagging their purchases
Answering customer inquiries about products, prices, or store policies
Must be knowledgeable about products, helpful, and friendly to ensure customers feel welcome and satisfied with their dining experience.
Always ensuring customers have "something to smile about" experience as a Till Operator in a retail or hospitality setting
Knowledge of touch screen point of sale systems like GAAP
Strong communication and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail to ensure that transactions are processed accurately.
Ability to handle cash accurately
Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ordinary and Advanced Levels including Mathematics and English Language
Till operators must be proficient in basic arithmetic
Should be able to provide friendly and efficient service to customers.
