Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of production machinery and equipment
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems
Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults to reduce production downtime
Support fitting, machining, and fabrication of components as required
Maintain maintenance records and report recurring faults
Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored
Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
Work closely with electrical and production teams to ensure smooth operations
National Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fitting & Turning, or related field
Apprenticeship or proven background as a Fitter & Turner
At least 2–3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (plastic manufacturing an advantage)
Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
Knowledge of workplace safety standards
