President Mnangagwa has proclaimed the 7th of November as the date for the Nomination Court to fill vacancies created by the recall of nine Citizens Coalition for Change legislators from Parliament.

Mnangagwa also announced that the by-election will be held on the 9th of December.

The constituencies which will hold by-elections include Beitbridge West, Binga North, Bulawayo South, Cowdray Park, Lobengula-Magwegwe, Lupane East, Mabvuku-Tafara, Mpopoma-Mzilikazi and Nketa.

The nine CCC legislators were recalled by the party’s Interim Secretary General Sengezo Tshabangu after they ceased to be members of the opposition outfit.
