The buzz continues to grow for Zimbabwe born Aussie based Adrian Dzvuke…

He was chosen by English rock band Coldplay to open for the band on the Australian leg of their Music of The Spheres World Tour on 18 November 2023 and he did brilliantly in front of a sell-out crowd of 60,000.

On the day…. the screens lit up giant visuals with the name, Adrian Dzvuke, and a handsome young man in a classy orange suit appeared on a towering stage, in front of the masses, alongside his band of quality musicians. He had sass, groove, rhythm and a likeable energy that radiated through the enthusiastic crowd gathered below.

“Hi, I’m Adrian Dzyuke”, he said, “and I won this Perth competition to play for you guys!!” A roar of appreciation rang out as the stylish, Dzvuke, clearly enjoying the moment, danced, swayed and sang his way through an energetic half hour set of up-tempo, Afrobeat / R&B style originals. ‘Fiyah’, a song co-written with Julia Stone, ‘Enjoy’, and a beautifully melancholic version of his song ‘Better’, where he encouraged some chorus-like audience participation, were definite highlights.

The Perth-based artist has quickly become one of Australia’s most in-demand emerging acts, as shown by performances at Splendour In The Grass, Groovin The Moo and Wave Rock festivals, as well as support slots for Spacey Jane, Omah Lay, POND, San Cisco, Stella Donnelly & Kizz Daniel.

Equally at home onstage with his band or in the studio, his soulful mixture of Afrobeats, R&B and Pop has been gaining fans at every show and with every release.

Born in Zimbabwe, Adrian moved to Australia aged 12 where – in the finest R&B tradition – he began his music career singing and playing drums in church. Fast forward some years and Adrian’s 2021 debut EP ‘Phone Me When You Lonely’ and recent collaborations with Julia Stone, Tasman Keith & Beckah Amani have seen him featured by Triple J, BBC, MTV, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon & VEVO, amassing over 3 million streams.

These milestones have helped shape a massive trajectory for Adrian, culminating in sold out headline shows, multiple awards and international Top 100 Chart positions on iTunes, Apple Music & Spotify.
