The Shamva community started their year with cleaning up the growth points and planting 300 fruit trees.

The places have previously been neglected especially in terms of refuse collection. They were filled with litter and the community saw that they could not go into 2024 in that state. The DAPP( development Aid from people to people) mobilized people for the clean up campaign.

The Shamva community said that they were inspired by the presidents cleanup campaign in December. They also wanted to do their part in light of global warming and climate change. The residents said that they found the DAPP to be beneficial to their community at large and to its future growth.

We hope all the small towns and even big cities will also be moved to hold such important campaigns and do their part in making our country clean and green.
