Callisto Pasuwa has been honored with the non-Citizen of the Year award for his outstanding performance at the 2023 Malawi Sports Awards. Pasuwa is a prominent Zimbabwean soccer coach currently serving as the technical director of Zimbabwe Big Bullets FC. Recently named coach of the year, Pasuwa has now added another prestigious accolade to his collection in Malawi.

Pasuwa’s exceptional leadership as the coach of Nyasa Big Bullets set him apart from other nominees, including Arjun Menon of Cricket Malawi and Priyasha Santosh Shyrian of Malawi Chess Federation. His coaching prowess was exemplified by leading his team to victory in the TNM Super League for the fifth consecutive season, a historic achievement. Additionally, Pasuwa secured the FDH Bank Cup for a second consecutive year, triumphed in the inaugural Castel Challenge Cup, and reclaimed the Airtel Top 8 title, completing an impressive quadruple win.

Having also clinched the Charity Shield for a remarkable sixth consecutive year, Pasuwa’s dedication and expertise have earned him recognition and admiration in the sports community.
