5 year old Dellish Masango to represent Zimbabwe

The saying “dynamite comes in small packages” perfectly encapsulates Dellish Makatendeka Masango (5), who is poised to represent Zimbabwe on the international stage as she gears up to compete in Miss Toto Africa in Nigeria on 23 March this year. Dellish, a vibrant young contestant, has her sights set on making her mark across Africa as she vies for the Miss Toto Africa title in the populous nation on the continent.

Shalom Ramunyenyiwa, the director of Miss Little Africa Zimbabwe, confirmed that this year they have a total of eight participants across all categories, a significant increase from the previous year when they only competed in two categories. Reflecting on last year’s pageant held at the Premier Inn Hotel in Johannesburg, Shalom expressed pride in the two representatives from Zimbabwe who performed admirably, motivating them to continue participating.

Shyllate Mhike, the Masvingo Provincial Education Director, commended Dellish on her accomplishments, highlighting the importance of early career exploration for students in shaping their future paths. Excitement reverberates throughout the province as Dellish prepares to showcase her talents at the upcoming pageant in Nigeria.

In an interview with The Midweek Watch, Dellish exuded confidence and enthusiasm about the competition, expressing her determination to bring the crown home. Her mother, Rumbidzai Chisangowerotah, shared the family’s pride in Dellish’s achievements, describing her daughter’s passion for beauty pageants and expressing confidence in her ability to succeed.

Dellish’s previous accolades, including being crowned Queen at Victoria Primary, winning titles at other pageants, and representing Zimbabwe in international competitions, showcase her talent and dedication.
