In March 2001, Mataranyika, along with Farai Rwodzi and Timothy Chiganze, established Nyaradzo Funeral Services, aiming to provide funeral services aligned with African cultural expectations. Since then, the company has expanded, leading to the formation of Nyaradzo Group, which includes Nyaradzo Funeral Assurance Company, Nyaradzo Funeral Services, Calaundike Exports, and Eureka Insurance Brokers. Additionally, Mataranyika serves as the board chairman of Rufaro Marketing and as the director of Altfin Life and Rose Markets Investments.
