What is the longest flight you’ve been?

Some might say two hours, five hours or even seven hours. Now imagine spending almost 19 hours in a single flight.

If you are looking to maximise your time in the skies, you might consider taking the current longest flight in the world, just board a Singapore Airlines plane in New York City and disembark in Singapore nearly 19 hours later. It is 15 348.314 long.

While the flight holds the current record, it is not however the longest flight ever flown, the longest non-stop commercial flight ever operated happened in March 2020 when Air Tahiti flew non-stop from Papeete, Tahiti to Paris, France travelling a distance of 15 715.244 kilometres.

That record however will be surpassed by Qantas in 2025, when the airline launches its 17 015.594 kilometres between Sydney and London.

Some of the current longest flight routes in the world are:

– Singapore to Newark at 15 325.783 Kilometers
– Perth to London at 14 500.189 kilometres

Well, if you love flying then these flights are definitely for you, they are however not recommended to persons suffering from Aviophobia or Aerophobia which is the fear of flying.
