Man fools cops and court officials by posing as a woman, even lands a gig as a sex worker

Melusi Ngwenya

In a bizarre case that has left many stunned, Melusi Ngwenya, a man from Zimbabwe, managed to deceive police officers and court officials by posing as a woman. His disguise was so convincing that he even landed a job as a sex worker, fooling a police officer who hired him for the night.

According to H-Metro, Ngwenya’s deception began when he was arrested for theft. He was booked into court as a female suspect, and even wore a dress and a bandana to complete his disguise. It wasn’t until he visited the ladies’ toilet at the court that an alert police officer recognized him as a man from a previous case.

The police officer who hired Ngwenya for the night, Nqobizitha Williams Bamala, was left red-faced when he discovered that the “woman” he had spent the night with was actually a man. Bamala claimed he was drunk and couldn’t remember the events of that night.

Ngwenya’s luck finally ran out when he appeared in court before magistrate Gamuchirai Gore, who released him on free bail. The case has raised questions about the effectiveness of security measures in place at the court.
