Sir Wicknell, a prominent Zimbabwean businessman, recently met with Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni at State House in Kampala. This meeting follows Chivhayo’s recent encounter with Kenyan President William Ruto at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair.

While the agenda for the meeting was not disclosed, speculation suggests that Chivayo and Museveni discussed potential partnerships and collaborations. Chivayo has become close to Zimbabwean leader Emmerson Mnangagwa and has been expanding his network across Africa.

Uganda’s government has launched the Digital Uganda Vision as part of its Vision 2040, focusing on leveraging modern technology for universal inclusion, sustainable development, and economic growth. Chivayo’s company is rumored to be in the running to become a Starlink agent in Zimbabwe.
