Former Dynamos captain and Warriors defender Ocean Mushure has been accused of abandoning his 12-year-old daughter, forcing her to drop out of school due to lack of support. The child’s mother, Noreen Sixpense, claims Mushure fathered the child outside his marriage and initially provided support before abandoning them.

Noreen alleges that Mushure was ordered to pay $150 monthly child support but has failed to do so for three years, accumulating $5,400 in arrears. The child was sent to live with her grandmother in Zimbabwe, but school attendance has been irregular due to Mushure’s lack of support. A relative, Shanice Nyahoda, described Mushure as irresponsible.

Mushure responded to the accusations, initially denying knowing Noreen before acknowledging the child but dismissing claims of neglect. The family plans to report him to the police for failing to pay maintenance.
