Jefferies was born in England but raised in Zimbabwe, where he began karting at age six. Despite limited infrastructure and sponsorship at home, he broke into European circuits, racing in Formula BMW, Formula 2, and eventually Formula 3.

In 2021, Jefferies set a GT3-class lap record at Germany’s Nürburgring Nordschleife—clocking 7:50.370 on one of the world’s most demanding tracks. The feat earned him global recognition and cemented his status among the sport’s top endurance drivers.

His success has sparked renewed interest in motorsport across Southern Africa. Young drivers now cite Jefferies as proof that talent from the continent can compete—and win—on the world stage.

Jefferies has also excelled in endurance formats like the 24H Series and Lamborghini Super Trofeo. Known for his technical discipline and adaptability, he often outperforms factory-backed teams with far greater resources.
